Cancellation and refunds

Clear expectations when plans change.

This policy applies to the Validation Sprint purchased through this site.

Before your sprint starts

Cancel before the scheduled kickoff and receive a full refund. Send the request to support@thefirstinvestor.com; we will honor it on the day we receive your email and initiate the refund that day. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the refund.

After work begins

Once research, planning, setup, or execution work has started, fees are non-refundable because the sprint reserves working time and involves delivered services. If we cannot deliver the agreed service, we will work with you on a reasonable remedy, which may include rescheduling or a partial refund.

Rescheduling

Ask to reschedule before kickoff. We will make reasonable efforts to find a new date, subject to availability.

Experiment expenses

Advertising, prospecting tools, payment processing, domains, and other third-party costs are separate from the sprint fee unless we agree otherwise in writing. Those charges follow the relevant provider's cancellation and refund policy.
